Terms & Conditions of Service
The basic terms governing quotes, scheduled service, materials, payment, and warranty coverage.
1. Scope of work
Services are provided based on the items discussed and agreed upon before service. Work is performed within a fixed service block. Additional work, scope changes, or unforeseen conditions may require an extended or additional service block.
2. Service blocks and time
Service blocks cover labor for the specified duration. Work is limited to what can reasonably be completed within the selected block. Unused time is not refundable or transferable.
3. Materials
Service blocks cover labor. Small incidental supplies such as fasteners, sealants, adhesives, and similar consumables are included. Fixtures and other materials may be customer-provided or supplied by Fix It Right and billed at cost plus the standard markup.
4. Estimates and hidden conditions
Quotes are based on visible conditions and the information available when the work is estimated. Hidden damage, code issues, prior improper repairs, or concealed conditions may require additional labor or materials. Any change is reviewed before proceeding.
5. Customer-supplied materials
Fix It Right is not responsible for defects, compatibility issues, manufacturer warranties, or delays caused by missing or incorrect customer-supplied materials.
6. Scheduling and access
The customer is responsible for safe and reasonable access to the work area. Delays caused by access issues, pets, occupants, or site conditions may count toward the reserved service block.
7. Payment
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees or collection costs as permitted by law.
8. Warranty
Fix It Right provides a one-year warranty on labor and materials supplied by Fix It Right. Coverage does not apply to customer-supplied materials, normal wear, misuse, or work altered by others.
9. Limitation of liability
Contractor liability is limited to the amount paid for the services performed. Fix It Right is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Acceptance
Approval of a quote, scheduling of service, or payment of an invoice constitutes acceptance of these terms.
